Then we Expand
Now that you have the basic somatic exercises, you can choose to move on to the next level! By experimenting with the exercises in an online group format, we can tap into the power of coregulation, which will reinforce the tools you have learned so far. There will also be opportunities to learn new tools and use the exercises in different ways and in different environments.
More About the Somatic Community
You will be the first to participate in any workshops I create on nervous system regulation, stress, and trauma. The bonus session could also be an extra somatic session where I teach a new exercise/discuss a theme, or interview with a guest speaker who has certifications in other areas related to stress and trauma. As a member of the community, you will have a voice in determining what subjects you would like to know more about and what sorts of activities you would be interested in! This is YOUR community.
Members will also enjoy 30% discounted access to one-on-one coaching if they feel that you could benefit from one-on-one support.
The cost of the Somatic Community is $50 per month and will renew automatically. Group membership can be canceled at any time. However, no refunds are available once automatic payment has occurred for the current month.
Group sessions are attended according to your availability, and you do not need to cancel if you are unable to attend. If the established schedule makes it difficult to attend at least one per week, please let me know, and I may alter the days/times or add another session as required.
During group sessions, I will ask that you mute yourself unless speaking to reduce distractions for other members. During the practice portion, I ask that there be no communication. During share time, you may communicate verbally or in the chat, but please keep yourself on mute if someone else is speaking. Â
Â
Having your camera on during group sessions is optional. However, keep in mind that the other group members will often feel safer if they can see you. Co-regulation with other group members also requires a visual component. That said, if you are feeling uncomfortable for any reason having your camera turned on, please feel free to do what your nervous system requires feeling safe.

Emma Carew Coaching can be expected to take action if either the somatic group activities or the group social network becomes unsafe for clients. For instance, I may choose to delete comments that other group members feel are triggering, disrespectful, judgmental, or shaming. I may also intervene in a group share if it falls outside our agreements. Â
